So the Newport Beach City Council made another decision regarding the Passive Park/City Hall location. Another decision. Another meeting. Another rift in the community. Alicia Robinson wrote about the $119.60 Costa Mesa wasted on the musical chairs, how much is this wasting for Newport Beach? All this fuss for something which will put the City of Newport Beach into further debt? Don't we have more important things to argue about? Shouldn't we be more concerned about the City Budget overspending or the Unfunded Pension liability or the expansion of John Wayne Airport? How many of us actually GO the current City Hall? This is wearisome. I may be in the minority about this, but I've lost interest in this. I say build a casino on the park site. That way the city residents can actually watch their money go down the drain, instead of reading about it in Newport's Bible.
