Peek a boo Park?

Can the City of Newport Beach finally
take a big stick and plunge it directly into the heart of
the Fashion Island City Hall concept. First we have a
park, then we have a City Hall...then we have a park....
then we have a last gasp for a City Hall again. This is
not the sort of give and take that makes for good or
responsive government. These concepts die hard we know.
Captain Bill Ficker...wants that one last chance to make
his name ring in infamy...as the government and the poor
conflicted citizens finally, finally, finally agree
....to what?

The Park property has been everything but blessed by
the Pope and still we have no total resolution. They
have voted this issue up, down and around. They have
given it every consideration. They have made every
effort. They have explored every possibility. They
are totally driving us nuts!

OK City Fathers and Moms.....place the capstone on the
Park.....order the Cement engraved edifice and place all
the names of the current City Council on there. Let your
egos go wild thinking about the years and years people
will view your name on that grey mass - and taking all
the credit for creating Peek-a-boo Park. Now you see it
...now you don't!

Remember however - Peek-a-boo we see YOU!!
