When you get the new Citizen of the Year, Evelyn Hart's voice mail, it cleverly says, "You've reached the Hart line..." Former Mayor Evelyn Hart deserves this honor. Just like the article says, she welcomes everyone into her home and offers that cup of coffee. And in my experience, she is just like most of the other wonderful ladies I've encountered in this fair City. At first appearance, Evelyn is a very sweet, grandmotherly lady, small, sweet, and always smiling. But cross her...and you wish you were dead...seriously. DEAD. So when she said to support AirFair. You support it. When she said that the Oasis center needs more money and to help her. Then you'd better help and lobby on her behalf to squeeze more money out of this tight-with-money City Council before they throw it all away with this City Hall fiasco. Congratulations goes out to Evelyn. You've earned it.
